3. Fracture (Fig. c) The ore is destroyed by bending. The broken ore is a two-point or multi-point beam that is subjected to concentrated loads. When the ore is subjected to a bending stress that reaches its bending strength limit, the ore is broken.
4. Grinding (Fig. d) After the ore and the moving surface are subjected to a certain pressure and shearing force, the ore is crushed when the shear stress reaches the shear strength limit of the ore. Grinding is suitable for the crushing of fine materials, but the grinding efficiency is low and the energy consumption is large.
5. Crushing (Fig. e) The ore is broken by the impact of the high-speed rotary machine. Its crushing force is instantaneous, its crushing efficiency is high, the crushing ratio is large, and the energy consumption is small.
