GTT wins G-Sim LNG simulator software order

GTT Training, a global leader in professional services ships and shore-based terminal LNG containment systems engineering company GTT, announced that it has received its G-Sim for L-3 DPA Ltd and Chevron LNG simulator software contract.

It is reported that the contract involves the development of a model based on a new LNG ship owned and operated by Chevron. The G-Sim software will also be connected to Chevron's cabin simulation equipment supplied by L-3 DPA Ltd.
Software that used to provide hands-on, real-time training processes and procedures that are often used to perform, complete, and operate any LNG cargo. The G-Sim software will provide simulations of all systems on board that manage and process LNG cargo and keep the vessel in a safe state.
In addition to Chevron's specific vessels, these software can also be selected from 16 different configurations of LNG vessels, selected based on tank volume, containment systems and propulsion systems to accommodate future requirements.
GTT Training leverages their extensive experience in LNG to develop in-house simulators that provide training to the maritime industry. G-Sim software will provide the most effective training platform for training LNG operators.
