Eaton Introduces New UltraShift Plus Transmission

Recently, the United States Eaton announced the launch of the new UltraShift Plus gearbox , and new transmission products will be produced on the new platform.

The new production platform will consist mainly of two production lines, including the Vocational Active Shifting, which will be used to produce the 10-speed gearbox and the Vocational High Performance, producing a 13-speed gearbox. The two product lines are mainly used for long-distance transportation. Shane Groner, product planning manager for Eaton Commercial Vehicle Transmission Division, said: “UltraShift Plus is a new product based on the more mature Fuller fixed-mesh transmission. The product line is very rich to meet customers and teams. Continuously increased configuration requirements.” At the same time, Eaton also announced the new Multipurpose Extreme Performance (MXP) platform. The platform was originally planned to create a commercial vehicle suitable for long-distance transportation and heavy cargo transportation. After transformation, the platform's products can meet the requirements of logging, mining, oil fields, construction, urban transportation, garbage, and off-road transportation.

Groner said: "UltraShift Plus automatic transmission MXP platform is based on Fuller Super 18-speed transmission production platform, has strong stability in extreme environments. UltraShift Plus MXP platform can produce products with a maximum torque of 2250lf-ft ."
