In daily work, any work cycle can be divided into four stages: planning, execution, inspection, and summary. Applying this work sequence loop to quality management work is called the PDCA work cycle. There are eight steps in this work cycle, as shown in Figure 1. The PDCA cycle has two characteristics: First, the four stages of the PDCA cycle are connected before and after each other, and they are connected to each other.
