Research Report on Beneficiation of Limonite in Yinjiagou Sediment

Causes of the ore is the original strong oxidation via sulfide ore, iron oxide and residual migration flow through integrated and rich brown iron ore.

The main metal ore minerals limonite, pyrite, followed siderite, yellow copper ore, sphalerite, a small amount of magnetite, galena; gangue minerals are quartz, clay minerals, calcite, ankerite, small amounts of apatite and the like. The ore contains 43% TFe, 3.12% sulfur, 0.24% P2O5, 0.69% copper, 0.28% lead and 0.51% zinc.

The mineral processing test uses three process flow schemes. The test results of different mineral processing schemes are shown in Table 1.

The associated mineral pyrite and chalcopyrite in the ore are mainly enriched in the sulfur concentrate. The sulfur grade is 40%, the sulfur recovery rate is 87.0%, the copper grade is 5.33%, and the copper recovery rate is 47.27%.

The experiment has been explored through various mineral processing schemes. Due to the poor floatability of iron minerals, the flotation method is difficult to carry out. In addition, the muddyness is serious and the anti-flotation effect is not satisfactory.
