The "renewal of old" policy did not reinvent the wheel

The State Council held an executive meeting to study and deploy policies and measures to encourage the “replacement of old cars”. It plans to use financial subsidies to encourage the “renewal of old cars” and increase the subsidy for the retirement of old cars from 1 billion yuan to 5 billion yuan. . Compared with the previous “automobile to the countryside” policy, the scope of the “old-for-new” policy has been expanded both in terms of scope and subsidy, and some commercial vehicle types such as Zhongka, micro-cards and some medium-sized passenger vehicles are entering the scope of “old-for-new” for the first time. The policy benefit population has significantly expanded.

However, what is puzzling is that the previously introduced “automobile to the countryside” policy and the “renewal of old” policy stimulated the New Deal. There were no large passenger cars and heavy trucks in the subsidies. As we all know, the most serious landslides in the current commercial vehicle market are heavy trucks and large passenger vehicles. Therefore, some experts believe that if you abandon the two types of large vehicles with annual sales of nearly 600,000 vehicles, it is fundamentally difficult to promote the overall commercial vehicle out of the doldrums in the second half of this year.

Experts believe that in fact, the large passenger car and heavy truck market are in urgent need of national assistance, and they are even more eager for the national “renewal” subsidy policy. Because the largest number of passengers traveled by large passenger vehicles, the largest users are mostly urban public transport companies and tourism companies. The former are public welfare enterprises, basically relying on state financial subsidies for loss-making enterprises. If they do not enjoy the national subsidy policy, this The bus industry in cities across the country is undoubtedly a blow. At the same time, heavy trucks, which are the means of production and production tools, are farmers' money-making machines, and they also await the country's subsidy policy. The main users of heavy trucks are farmers, large-scale logistics companies, port terminals, military police, large-scale water conservancy projects, and industrial and mining enterprises. Therefore, in the current situation where the big passenger and heavy truck markets continue to fall and slide, it is even more necessary for the government to lend a helping hand.
