Yang Chuantang: Clarifying the Serious Tasks of Reforms and Making Discipline Requirements to Ensure Smooth and Propelled Reform of Public Buses

On August 25, the Ministry of Transport held a special meeting on reform of the official car system. The Party Party Secretary and Minister Yang Chuantang attended the meeting and emphasized that it is necessary to thoroughly implement the relevant requirements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, clarify the tasks for reform, and strictly enforce discipline requirements, ensure the smooth and steady advancement of the reform of the official car system, and strive to achieve convenient, reasonable and cost-effective transportation for business trips. Controllable, transparent vehicle management practices, and scientific and effective regulatory accountability.

The meeting reviewed and approved the implementation plan for the Ministry of Commerce official car system reform and decided to establish a leading group for the reform of the official car system. Yang Chuantang was the team leader, and the deputy party secretary and deputy secretary Weng Mengyong was the deputy leader.

Yang Chuantang emphasized that all departments and units should clearly define the task of reform, cancel official vehicles used by departments and general law enforcement vehicles, retain necessary confidential communications, service vehicles for emergency vehicles and retired cadres, and strengthen the management of reserved vehicles. Improving the management and management of official vehicles shall be implemented in strict accordance with the plan approved by the Leading Group for Reform of the Official Car System of the Central Government and State Organs.

Yang Chuantang requested that discipline inspections and audits of official vehicles should be strengthened. Units in various departments must not disguise super-standards or exceed official sales standards for special purposes, and must not use, borrow, occupy subordinate units or other units in any way. Individual vehicles must not accept vehicles donated by enterprises, institutions, and individuals, and must not use the vehicles for official use or fixed to individuals for any reason, such as law enforcement duties and confidential communications, and must not disguise their welfare in the name of transportation subsidies.
