Automated inspection of Jinan Iron and Steel Sinter

Abstract:The existent test technology and the problems of the sinter at Jigang are analyzed and automatic reconstruction project are brought forward aiming at the test technological process. This system has the features such as apparatus being simple, the cost being lower,test data being objective ,rapid, continuous and exact and can be used to guide production directly.

The stability of sinter quality has increasingly become the key to maintaining a good operation of the entire pre- iron system. The Jinan Iron and Steel Group Corporation (referred to as Jigang) has not been able to meet the needs of the production process with the existing inspection methods and equipment, which results in long inspection period and serious lag in inspection results. Especially when the product quality is abnormal, it is impossible to adjust the sintering production in time and cannot guide the blast furnace production in time. Moreover, after investigation, it is found that most domestic enterprises have similar problems. Therefore, whether the online automated inspection of sinter can be achieved will directly affect the stability of sintering and ironmaking production. The following is an attempt to improve the automation inspection system of the 7# belt at the finished product of the 90m 2 sintering machine of the First Sintering Plant of Jinan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. as a beneficial attempt to improve the automation level of the sinter inspection.

I. Existing inspection process and existing problems

(1) Inspection process

1. Sampling location: Finished 7# belt head of Jinan Iron and Steel First Sintering Plant.

2. Existing equipment: 1 ZC90-1 automatic sampling machine, 1 ISO-1 drum machine, 1 ZS95-2 5 automatic vibrating screen, crusher , grinding machine, etc.

3. Inspection process: take a sample every 40 minutes according to the preset procedure. After 5 to 7 pick-ups, a large sample was formed as a physical and chemical test sample (weight about 120 kg). Send to the sintering quality inspection station for physical testing and chemical analysis. The contents include: the particle size screening of the sample, the drum, the second crushing, shrinking, and grinding of the sample to prepare the test sample for delivery to the laboratory. The laboratory must report chemical composition within 2 hours of the test to guide production. The cycle of a physical-chemical test is approximately 4 hours.

(2) Problems existing

1. The inspection equipment has low automation level and long cycle, and the timeliness of the results is poor.

2. Due to the inability to sample the whole process, the representativeness of the sample is poor.

3. When production is abnormal, it is impossible to provide quality data in a targeted manner to guide production in a timely manner.

4. High labor intensity, high inspection cost and high material consumption.

5, the inspection process is more, easy to produce human influence, resulting in reduced accuracy.

Second, the transformation plan

(1) Electrical control

The electrical control system is shown in Figure 1. On-site installation of five-level automatic vibrating screen (hereinafter referred to as "vibration screen"), automatic drum machine, crusher and existing finished 7# sampling machine guide tube are connected to each other, finished 7# belt electrical automatic control system and automatic The electrical automatic control system of the sampling machine and the vibrating screen are connected to form a test electric automatic control system. Through the automatic control of the electric machine, the sampling machine successively opens the vibrating screen, the automatic weighing device and the ISO automatic drum machine until the final returning device is taken according to the automatic opening-closing procedure.

(2) Working principle of automatic inspection system

The sinter automatic inspection process control is shown in Figure 2. The ZC90-1 automatic sampling machine is connected to the vibrating screen through the guiding tube, and the four sub-samples are sieved by the vibrating screen to obtain the corresponding signal transmission by the four pressure sensors on the receiving tray brackets of the vibrating screen.

The data processing system is connected to a computer with recording and display functions. The sieve size of each sample will be directly displayed and can be used to guide the sintering production. According to the requirements of GB10122-88, the weight of the sintered ore particle size screening sample should be greater than 100kg. The displayed data only represents the product quality in the sample time, and can only be used to guide the production). The weights of several subsamples are separately calculated according to different particle sizes. Whenever a subsample of 100kg is encountered, do the data once. Treatment (accumulating the total weight of several subsamples and the percentage of total weight of 5 fractions), listing the screening particle size tested according to GB10322-88, not only for the settlement of iron and sinter plants, but also Used to guide iron making production.

It is equipped with a new type of ISO automatic drum machine (this product conforms to GB8029-87) with vibrating screen, and is connected with the material feeding tube and the dumping device of the automatic weighing system. The drum strength is automatically made after the two-stage drum is directly used by the computer.

It is equipped with a 2-stage crusher, a reducer and a grinding machine. The sample can be directly processed into test samples on site. Thereby, the labor intensity of the inspector is alleviated.

Third, the system features

(1) The implementation of this program is mainly reflected in the fact that the existing equipment is slightly matched and modified, and the timeliness, accuracy and scientificity of the inspection results are improved with less investment. Not only minimizes the influence of human factors in the inspection process, but also realizes the comprehensive inspection of the intermediate products before the iron from any time to the whole process. It can detect the quality of a certain product at any time, and can clearly determine the fluctuation of product quality during the whole process of production, so as to better guide the adjustment of the production process. At the same time, the data detected under the conditions stipulated by the national standards can provide an accurate and reasonable basis for internal settlement and economic assessment.

(2) Through the innovation of technology and management, timely and accurately feedback the quality data, in order to give full play to the automatic adjustment ability of the technical parameters of the pre-iron system, and provide more targeted analysis and judgment basis for the abnormal situations occurring in production. . In particular, the more advanced intelligent sintering process now requires more timely feedback of physical properties, in order to achieve automatic control of the entire process of the computer.

(3) Different from the design principle of some foreign online automatic inspection devices: these devices are weighed after each subsample, and when the total reaches 100kg, the inspection is automatically performed. Therefore, each single device is required to be processed in a large amount and in a large amount, and most of the time is in an idle state, resulting in an expensive whole system. These devices verify that data feedback is slow, but the level of automation is high.

The system designed by this scheme is based on the particle size screening of each subsample, and the computer controls the whole system and the data processing after weighing. The degree of automation or the inspection accuracy of the system are not inferior to the similar devices in foreign countries. It is this unique idea that the processing capacity of the single equipment does not need to be large, and many auxiliary equipments such as small belts and feeders can be omitted, thereby greatly reducing the cost of the entire system, and the detection data is more intuitive and fast.

Fourth, the conclusion

Based on this scenario, the Technical Supervision Department of Jinan Iron and Steel has made an overall plan for online automation transformation of all man-made rich mine inspections. It has been officially incorporated into the 2002 Jinan Steel Technical Transformation Project through the feasibility study of relevant departments. Promoted to automated inspection of coke . It is believed that with the implementation of the project, the inspection of the former system products of Jigang will enter the domestic advanced level. This automated inspection system will also have a broader development prospect in China.
