Heavy medium cyclone

Its structure is basically the same as that of a common hydrocyclone. The original medium used is a resuspension, and now there is also a medium for water. The heavy medium cyclone has a single cone and a double cone; the upper part of the single cone is cylindrical and the lower part is conical; the upper and lower parts of the double cone are conical.
The heavy medium cyclone has a simple structure, is easy to manufacture, consumes less water, and has high sorting efficiency. The low-density and low-density weighting agent can be used, and the sorting precision is higher than other heavy medium dressing equipment, and the sorting granularity can be up to 35 mm, and the minimum is 0.5. Mm. In order to avoid blockage of the discharge port and facilitate the removal and recovery of the medium, the suitable ore feeding size is 2~20mm.
China began to use heavy medium cyclones in ore dressing production since 1965, mainly to treat tin ore, and later expanded to sorting tungsten, iron and other ores. The specifications of the type of heavy medium cyclone for beneficiation are Φ300, Φ380, Φ430, Φ500, Φ6OOmm and so on. At present, heavy medium cyclone in the country's election which is widely used in the coal industry.
