The 24.7 km heating pipeline laid by the Dongbei Thermal Power Plant is connected to the existing pipe network of the No. 1 thermal power plant. The existing pipe network with steam heating in the central urban area was transformed into a hot water heating pipe network to replace the existing heating capacity of the first thermal power plant. After the renovation, the heating area was increased from the original 9.7 million square meters to 11.7 million square meters.
